Cold weather means hot beverages especially hot chocolate, so why not make it a healthy beverage. The protein will give you a boost as well as the chocolate!! Yum!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Chocolate Protein Powder
  • Silk Light Chocolate Soy Milk
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Special Dark Hersheys Cocoa
  • Blender
  1. Step 1

First. Purchase your ingredients. Perhaps the most difficult part will be selecting what type of protein you will use. I personally use one with extra fiber called Fitsmart, which has 10 grams of fiber, and 20 grams of protein.

  2. Step 2

Second. My preference is to use Silk light chocolate soy milk, which has 5 grams of protein, and 2 gram of fiber, but almond milk would be tasty as well.

  3. Step 3

Third. Combine one serving of protein, 6 to 8 ounces of soy milk, 1 tablespoon of Hersheys Special Dark Cocoa, and 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract, in a blender mix for a few seconds, then pour into a saucepan or microwave safe cup and heat DO NOT BOIL. May take up to a couple minutes.

Tips & Warnings
  • Tip you can grate fresh cinnamon on top of your hot chocolate for added flavor.
