have a Rock Band Party

If you're searching for some cool ideas for your Rock Band Party I will share with you some ideas of what I did to have our Rock Band Party. It was so much fun we couldn't stop talking about it the next day. This was an adult only party but you can do this for kids too!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Rock Band Game
  • Decorations
  • Refreshments
  • Costumes and wigs
  1. Step 1

Begin by setting up a place to set up the Rock Band Instruments. If you are playing in your living room, move some furniture around to make a nice comfortable space so that everyone has room to play and dance.

  2. Step 2

Next purchase some decorations to set the atmosphere. I purchased black streamer, decor with music notes, plastic bats and some novelty flame lamps. You can also purchase some colored light bulbs.

  3. Step 3

A very cool idea is a fog machine that I borrowed from a friend. You might be able to rent one or purchase one at a party or novelty shop. At the beginning of songs we had the fog machine go off and it actually felt like we were on stage, so much fun! If you are able to get a strobe light or blinking colored lights this would be great too.

  4. Step 4

Set up a table on the side with some snacks. We had lots of chips and dip, candy, cake and drinks. As the players took breaks they were able to go and have a snack.

  5. Step 5

The best part of the party is we had all the guests come dressed as a Rock Star. Everyone was very creative and came to the party representing different eras of Rock Music. We had some punk rockers, heavy metal rockers and some sixties chics. We also had some extra wigs and sunglasses just in case someone came to the party without being dressed. We had people with colored wigs, tattoos and spiked jewelry.

  6. Step 6

This Rock Band party was a big success. These ideas can work for an adult or child's party. Have Fun!

Tips & Warnings
  • If you use a fog machine make sure the children don't touch the machine because it can become very hot.
