How to Change My MSN Alternate Email Address?

The alternate email address allows MSN to contact you if there is a problem with your MSN email account. If your account has had a security breached or you have forgotten your password, this alternate email will save you time and hassles to reinstate your MSN email account. Be sure that your alternate email address is your permanent email address. If your permanent address does change, you need to change this information in your MSN account.

Instructions

1. Login to your MSN account.

2. Left-click your login name on the top left of the page. A drop down menu will appear. Select the "View Your Account" option.

3. Click the "Change" link next to "Alternate e-mail address" in the Password reset information section of the page.

4. Enter your password, new alternate email address and then retype the alternate email address in the appropriate text boxes.

5. Click the "Save" button.
