How to Make Sodium Ascorbate

Sodium ascorbate, not to be confused with ascorbic acid, has far-reaching health benefits according to a number of medical studies. Taken in regular doses, approximately 1 tsp. a day over the course of one year, it can strengthen the heart and arteries, and help reverse the onset of chronic aliments. It is considered the non-acidic form of vitamin C. It is also used to alleviate symptoms of the common cold. Look at the ingredients on a box of throat lozenges and you'll see sodium ascorbate.
