LimeWire is a P2P, or peer-to-peer file sharing network, which allows users across the world to share music, video and software files. There are three versions of this software, the most basic of which can be installed at no charge. LimeWire allows other users to download shared files from your computer just like you would from a website. LimeWire shares files automatically and this feature must be turned off if you do not want anyone else to access your resources.
