How to Cure Puffy Eyes In No Time thumbnail
Cucumbers are an age-old home remedy.

Puffy eyes -- we've all had them at some point or another. Whether you had a long night, a little too much wine, bad allergies or just got a little emotional, puffy eyes occur occasionally. There are many quick fixes to depuff your eyes and give you a refreshed look fast. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Get out the silverware and try the cold spoon method. Take two metal spoons and stick them in the freezer for 20 minutes. Take them out and lay them over your eyes for at least 10 minutes. Relax, and let the cold metal do its job and reduce the swelling.

    • 2

Splash cold water. If you just have tired eyes and have been staring at a computer screen too long, you can just splash cold cold water on your face and eyes, and look refreshed in seconds.

    • 3

Slice a cucumber. It's the oldest trick in the book. Cut a fresh cucumber into slices. Stick them in a bag and freeze them. When you need to reduce puffy eyes, grab two frozen slices and stick them onto your eyes for 10 minutes.

Use eye creams -- and add rosemary. Purchase a simple eye cream at the store and add a few pieces of rosemary into it. Mix it up. When you have had a long night, rub the cream into your skin under your eyes and rest for awhile. Your eyes will look refreshed in less than an hour.

Tips & Warnings

  • Always sleep with your head slightly propped to help reduce puffy eyes.
