Food is a needed item, but the bill can be trimmed up a lot.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Time
  • Newspaper ads
  • Friends
  • Shopping list
  • Menu of dinners
  1. Step 1

Make a list of great dinner meals. Make sure to add in enough for leftovers for lunches. That way your really saving money there on gas and waste. If you really want to save on the newspaper ask a friend or family member for their used newspaper. That way the coupons are truly free. If you can get more then one copy, more coupons.

  2. Step 2

Form a price club between a few friends. That way you can find better prices, more delicious meal ideas and above all you might be able to combine errands. That will save gas and time.

  3. Step 3

Make a shopping list and take what coupons you have clipped into consideration. Shop using the coupons. As a added bonus checking prices with friends, you can shop at the store with the best possible buys. Between following the coupons and price checks should clip up the bill and fast. Limit the amount of trips to the store. That way your saving on gas, wear and tear on the car, and no extra buys. I personal only go to the store 2 times a month.

Tips & Warnings
  • Have fun
  • Be creative
  • Check the expiration on the coupons.
