Things You'll Need:
- Square Baking Pan;
- Cutting board and knife;
- Scissors;
- 2 rolls-Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (Pillsbury or Nestle);
- 2 packages-Philadelphia Cream Cheese;
- Butter or cooking spray for pan.
-
Step 1
First, preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Take Cream Cheese out of fridge to soften a bit so it's easier to work with.
Once it is softened, you're ready to go. Get your cutting board and knife, and all ingredients on table or counter. -
Step 2
First, begin by cutting open both packages of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Then, slice into approximately 1/2 inch pieces. Put aside.
-
Step 3
Next, open both packages of Cream Cheese and slice into approximately 1 inch pieces.
-
Step 4
Butter or spray your baking pan thoroughly to avoid sticking.
-
Step 5
Now, it's just like making lasagna. Start first layer of cookie dough on bottom of pan, and press down to fill in all empty gaps and every corner.
-
Step 6
Place a layer of cream cheese on top of cookie dough. (It doesn't have to fill in everywhere, as it will melt when you bake it). Use all of the cream cheese on this layer, and flatten out a bit.
-
Step 7
Next, place final layer of cookie dough on top and again, press down to fill in all empty gaps and corners.
-
Step 8
Place in pre heated oven for approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on altitude. You will know they are finished when you use "toothpick or knife test" and it comes out clean.
-
Step 9
Let the brownies set for about 1 hour. This allows the cream cheese to set. That's it!
Oh, and if you like coconut, you can ALWAYS sprinkle a layer of it on the brownies about 5 minutes before they come out of oven!
