How to Create a '40s Costume for Women

      Put on bright red lipstick.

      Pin up your hair and put a turban over it.

      Put on a silky print sarong-style dress.

      Slide your feet into wedge sandals.

      Carefully secure a small basket filled with artificial tropical fruit onto your head. Tie it or pin it so it is secure.
