How to Find an HUD Registered Agent
Buying a house is not easy--it takes time and research to buy a home for a reasonable price. The good news is that you can get help by finding a qualified real estate broker who is licensed by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). It is not difficult to find one since the majority of real estate agents are registered with HUD. A HUD broker is a real estate agent licensed to sell property repossessed by the government at a lower cost than its original price. The agent prepares and submits your offer at no charge, HUD pays 5 percent of the closing costs, and you move in faster if a HUD home is eligible for an FHA-insured mortgage. Buyers may be eligible for repair loans built into the mortgage and may qualify for 3 percent down payments.
