How to Make Apple Yogurt Breakfast

Tired of serving the same old bacon, eggs, muffins, and waffles for your children for breakfast? Well, here's a neat little breakfast item that will have your kids wanting more and more! Did we mention it's super healthy?

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • greek-style yogurt
  • honey
  • candied walnuts
  • knife
  • bowl
  • apples
  • pears
  1. Step 1

Wash 1 small apple and a pear. I like using a small red or pink apple.

  2. Step 2

Dice the apple and pear. Place in large bowl.

  3. Step 3

Add a 4 candied Walnuts. These can be bought at Trader Joe's or if you can't find them, you can just add honey roasted peanuts. If you don't want to use nuts, just omit them or replace them with raisins or sunflower seeds instead!

  4. Step 4

In another small bowl, add 1/2 cup of greek-style yogurt and 2 teaspoons of honey. Stir well to blend. Greek yogurt can be quite thick so I like to stir in quickly in one direction for a few seconds to smooth it out.

  5. Step 5

Add the yogurt mixture to the fruit and gently stir to coat each piece of fruit.

  6. Step 6

Divide it up and serve! Your kids will love it!
