How to Make Homemade Strawberry Milk

Don't grab the powdery pink stuff or the sugary syrup at the market to add a little pizazz to your child's milk, just make strawberry milk at home! Here's a simple recipe for the homemade sweet stuff and you'll know you're a good parent because it is sugar free but tastes just as awesome.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • fresh strawberries
  • blender or mixer
  • milk of choice
  • fruit knife
  • sugar (can be omitted)
  1. Step 1

    Wash your 3 cups worth of strawberries thoroughly under luke warm water. Ensure there is no dirt on the strawberries.

  2. Step 2

    Hull the strawberries.

  3. Step 3

    Cut the strawberries in half.

  4. Step 4

    Place the strawberries in a blender.

  5. Step 5

    Pour in 1.5 cups of milk of choice (skim, whole, 1% or even soy).

  6. Step 6

    This is step is really your call. If you're serving this to your children, you might want to skip this step entirely. If it's just for yourself, add 1 tablespoon on sugar.

  7. Step 7

    Blend until smooth.

  8. Step 8

    Divide the mixture up and garnish with diced strawberries.

  9. Step 9

    Serve and enjoy!
