Things You'll Need:
- Aqua Net Hair Spray
- Liquid Laundry Detergent
- Washing Machine or Sink to rinse all off
- Cold Water
-
Step 1
As soon as you discover the ink, spray it with Aqua Net Hair Spray and let it set for a moment.
Do not attempt to do this using any other brand or kind of hair spray, since I never have and I know Aqua Net works! -
Step 2
After the hair spray sets for a moment, soak the whole spot in straight liquid laundry detergent, of the same kind that you would normally use on the fabric you got the ink on.
-
Step 3
Gently wash and rinse out the shirt, in cold water only, and air dry it to make sure all has washed out.
Do not dry your shirt or blouse out in the dryer, because if there is any ink left, the heat would set the stain in. After checking to make sure it's all out, you could have to re-do the same steps again, but I have never had to.

on 10/12/2009 I heard this technique back in the sixties. I'm glad AquaNet is still in biz after all these years... Swiss24 - Taos, New Mexico
