Provide play toys for the cat. Abyssinian cats are playful cats. They like to remain active. Make sure that your Aby cat has something to occupy the cat's time. Purchase items such as catnip toys and feathers for the cat to play with. You can also make your own toys at home. Stuff a tube with toilet paper. Create a ball for the cat to play with. Use an rolled up piece of newspaper. Capture the cat's interest with a fishing line or a pile of yarn. Toss a tennis ball in the air or roll one on the ground. Play with your Abyssinian cat and he will play with you as well.
