how to make a simple meatball and tomato sauce recipe

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 pieces of fresh garlic
  • 6 green spanish or salad olives
  • 1 small weet onion
  • 1 teaspoon adobo
  • 2 small cans of tomato sauce(goya)
  • 1 tablespoon green peppers chopped
  1. Step 1

    chop the garlic green pepper olives

  2. Step 2

    put all ingredients in a medium sized bowl along with the adobo (spanish Seasoning you can find in the grocery store)

  3. Step 3

    with your hands yes your hands (clean of course) squeeze gently all the ingredients making sure that the meat mixture is thoroughly mixed

  4. Step 4

    heat a medium sized skillet/pan to this you may add a drop of olive oil if you like

  5. Step 5

    shape the ground beef into small sized meatballs by rolling the meat in your hand to form a round shape

  6. Step 6

    when pan/skillet is hot put the meatballs into the pan and let brown on all sides evenly

  7. Step 7

    turn the meatball with a fork carefully so as not to break them

  8. Step 8

    when meatballs are brown put a cover on the pan and let cook for five more minutes

  9. Step 9

    remove the cover and carefully drain the meatballs removing all grease that may appear

  10. Step 10

    return the meatballs back to pan/skillet on a lower flame and add the cans of tomato sauce

  11. Step 11

    stir the meatballs and the sauce with a wooden spoon gently

  12. Step 12

    cover the pan/skillet on low heat and let simmer for for three minutes

  13. Step 13

    remove from heat and serve with white rice Italian bread sub rolls serve atop Baquette bread enjoy this delicious and easy meal

  • if you can purchase a grade of 90 percent instead of a lesser grade
