How to Create a '20s Costume for Men

Just think of certain Pacino or DeNiro films to envision how a 1920s gangster should look.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• 3-inch-wide White Silk Ties
• Black Double-breasted Pinstripe Suits
• Black Men's Dress Shirts
• Black Men's Dress Shoes
• Black Socks
• Mobster Costume
• Combs
• Hair Gel
• Shaving Creams
• Shaving Kits

1. Shave. Five o'clock shadow is not cool, even on a '20s gangster.

2. Slick back your hair.

3. Put on black socks.

4. Don a long-sleeved black shirt, a 3-inch-wide white tie, and trousers. The trousers must match your double-breasted black blazer with white pinstripes.

5. Put on a pair of black laced shoes with leather soles.

6. Place white spats over the tops of the shoes.

7. Put on your blazer, making certain to button all buttons.

8. Place a wide-brimmed black felt hat on your head, tilting it slightly a la Al Capone.

Tips & Warnings

• Walk and talk like Pacino or DeNiro.
• Exude cool.
