Paint the candelabra. If your candelabra is dark black and you don't like the look, lighten it with a can of spray paint. Protect nearby areas with newspaper. Use at least two coats of paint for best results.

Add decorative accessories. Attach dangling crystals with fishing line for an elegant look, or twine vines around the arms of the candelabra. You can place a bouquet of flowers in the middle of the candelabra and let the arms of the candles poke through. Use a hot glue gun or floral wire in a color that matches the candelabra to attach silk flowers or beads.

Create final touches. Tie a ribbon around the neck of the candelabra and let the ends dangle gracefully. You can also decorate for the seasons. During the fall holidays, add colorful leaves around the base of the candelabra. Hang round ornaments from the arms at Christmastime. Add candles in different colors, or use one color for a more elegant look.
