How to Watch Videos on an iPod Nano

Turn on your iPod Nano and choose the video option. Browse for the video you want to watch and press "Play." Choose "Video Camera" if the video you want to watch was recorded using the iPod Nano camera. Select the video and press "Play."

Rotate the iPod Nano horizontally to watch the video. Press "Play" again to pause. Hold the player vertically to watch videos recorded in portrait format. Move to the next step if you want to watch iPod Nano videos on a TV.

Select "Choose Videos" and select "Settings." Set TV out to "Ask" or "On." Select the screen format, you want to use (16:9 widescreen or 4:3 fullscreen). Select from either NTSC or PAL output, depending on the region in which you live. If you are unsure of the format, refer to your TV's operating manual.

Connect your iPod Nano to AC power. Connect the 30-inch pin connector on the component cable into the iPod and the green, blue and red connectors into the component video inputs on your TV. The inputs on the TV are all color coded for reference.

Plug the red and white connectors on the component cable into the left and right analog audio inputs on the TV. The audio inputs are also color coded for reference.

Turn on the TV and select the input channel needed to watch video. This varies depending on your TV model; therefore, refer to your operating manual.

Choose videos on your iPod Nano and browse for the video you want to watch. Press "Play" to begin the playback and watch the videos on your TV.
