Turn on your iPod Nano and choose the video option. Browse for the video you want to watch and press "Play." Choose "Video Camera" if the video you want to watch was recorded using the iPod Nano camera. Select the video and press "Play."

Rotate the iPod Nano horizontally to watch the video. Press "Play" again to pause. Hold the player vertically to watch videos recorded in portrait format. Move to the next step if you want to watch iPod Nano videos on a TV.

Select "Choose Videos" and select "Settings." Set TV out to "Ask" or "On." Select the screen format, you want to use (16:9 widescreen or 4:3 fullscreen). Connect your iPod Nano to AC power. Connect the 30-inch pin connector on the component cable into the iPod and the green, blue and red connectors into the component video inputs on your TV. The inputs on the TV are all color coded for reference.
