How to Install ActiveX Adobe Reader 7

ActiveX Adobe Reader 7 is a combination of two different Web-based download applications used to help you read and create new documents. ActiveX allows you to control downloads and run web applications while Adobe Reader 7 enables you to view PDF files and print them without needing a word processor program. Both programs can be downloaded for free from reputable sites.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Find the "ActiveX" download link in Resources. This link will take you directly to the ActiveX download page.

  2. Step 2

    Click "Download Now" and the program will begin to download. Once the download is complete double click its icon on the desktop. This will launch the installation wizard.

  3. Step 3

    Read through the license agreement and accept it. From here follow the remaining prompts and the installation will begin. You will be notified once the installation has completed.

  4. Step 4

    Find the second link available in "Resources." This will lead to the Adobe Reader 7.0 download. A newer version of Adobe Reader is available for free through the Adobe website.

  5. Step 5

    Click "Download Adobe Reader 7.0" to begin the download.

  6. Step 6

    Open the downloaded file by double clicking the desktop icon. This will launch the Adobe installation wizard. Accept the license agreement and follow the remaining steps to complete the program installation.
