How to Put on Goth Makeup
If done correctly, Goth make-up achieves a pale face with a dramatic look. The eyes and lips should draw attention. A bad Goth make-up job can look gaudy, so practice applying the look before wearing it out. Experiment with eye liner to make a distinct look. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Wash your face with warm water and facial soap. Pat dry. Cleaning dirt and oil off the face prevents breakouts.
-
2
Use a make-up brush to dust baby powder over the face and neck. Make sure to get the baby powder around and under the jaw line.
-
-
3
Apply black eyeliner above the eyelashes and under the lashes on the bottom lid.
-
4
Apply eyeshadow to the brush. Blow off the excess powder. Use the brush to sweep the eyelid. Thick eye make-up looks cakey, so use a light hand.
-
5
Apply black mascara.
-
6
Apply lip liner to the outer edge of the lips. The lip liner should be either the same color or a color slightly darker than the lipstick. Apply lipstick. Vamp.org recommends using a lip brush to put on lip color. Use either blood red or black. Hotgothicstuff.com says that if you place emphasis on the eyes, go easy on lip color.

Tips & Warnings
Keep make-up out of eyes. Test the make-up on a small area of skin to check for allergic reactions. Cheaper brands tend to cause more reactions than more expensive brands.
