Step 1
The first step is to consider the audience. Does the group contain several children? If it does you might want to consider a cartoon.
-
Step 2
The second step is to consider length of the movie. Some of the Christmas movies are short so you might want to think about a double feature.
-
Step 3
The third step is to think about whether you want a classic Christmas movie. There are many excellent ones.
-
Step 4
The fourth step is to ask your friends and family. This one can be a little sticky. Always think about the source. Some of your family or friends are sure to have very different tastes. If they recommend a movie, ask them to describe it in detail to you. With additional information you may be able to rule some real stinkers.
-
Step 5
The next step is to make a list of the movies that have been recommended and you have thought about seeing.
-
Step 6
The next step is to do a little online research. Check out the movies on your list. What are the movies rated? What do other people online think of your selections?
-
Step 7
The next step is to purchase some popcorn. The best movies are always even better with a little popcorn and real butter.
-
Step 8
The last step is doing a little more research. Is the movie (or movies) that you want available at the local rental store? What good will it do selecting a movie if it isn’t available? If you can’t rent it you might want to consider purchasing the movie.
