BASICS AND EDUCATION. Alright, so you want to detox diet but you have no clue where to start. Start with the basics and what you know. Think logical when planning out your detox diet. There are so many detox diets out there, but you should educate yourself on the best one right for you. Really, you look around for different types of diets but the best detox diet is a simple clean food diet.

  2. Step 2

PLANNING. One thing you must remember about a detox diet, you cannot simply start it the next day. If you are serious about it, take the time to plan it out according to your schedule. Do you work a lot? Will you need to pack lunch? Do you have time to prepare your food? These all matter a lot. You may committed to your detox but then just skip it one day because of work. Consistency is always best for best results. So, shop ahead, plan ahead, and of course have a goal to stick to. The average detox diet should last a week to two weeks at the most.

  3. Step 3

SHOPPING. Shopping for your diet is most important. You don't need tons of expensive health food for a good detox diet. You need "clean" food. Fresh veggies (not canned or frozen) and fresh fruit. You need purified distilled water and juice without additives. These are essential for a detox diet. It's really all you need. Nuts, whole grains, and natural diary will help provide protein and essential nutrients.

  4. Step 4

STICK TO IT. You must set a goal and stick to it. Detox diets normally should last a week to three weeks at the most. Eat only your "clean foods" and do not let yourself have any alcohol, soda, meat, or other toxic foods. This means no smoking, drinking, or indulging in sugar. ONLY ORGANIC FOODS, NATURAL JUICE, AND WATER.

  5. Step 5

GETTING BACK TO NORMAL. You shouldn't just stop your detox diet after completing it. You should start consuming food slowly. Most people use detox to start off a new healthy lifestyle. In this case, just keep eating healthy and getting the right amount of nutrition in your diet.
