If you want to send a personalized greeting to your friends and loved ones this year, there is nothing better then sending out a one of a kind Holiday Photo Card.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Digital Camera
  1. Step 1

Find the perfect setting. Beach scenes, mountains, or with the family pet are always good locations

  2. Step 2

Find the right outfits. Matching is best but avoid stripes and patterns. If you are taking pictures of children, a classic white button down for boys and a dark solid dress for girls is classic. Avoid the sweater with Rudolf on the front

  3. Step 3

Last but not least. Include the entire family. Even the family dog. A Holiday photo resembles a moment frozen in time. A remembrance to look back on once upon a time. You will enjoy looking back and remembering taking your Holiday Photo. Better yet, it will be a wonderful surprise for all the recipients. Remember to just have fun with it, and good luck creating your perfect Holiday Photo Card.

Tips & Warnings
  • You want your Holiday Photo Card to be as personal and close to perfect as possible. Ask a friend of yours to snap the photo for you. This way you are included in the photo, and you don’t have to toy around with the timer. It is very common for everybody to want to wear the same or matching outfits. Don’t! It is not necessary to all wear flashing Santa sweaters and antlers. If you wear black, white and red solid colors you will still look festive and wonderful, just a little toned down.
  • Next, make sure that you just be yourself. Be natural, and have fun with it. Fake smiles never look pleasant. Always have a few shots taken. Chances are somebody will not be paying attention when the flash goes off. Or, guaranteed you will have somebody who blinks in the photo. You want to have a few taken so you have a selection to choose from, to pick out your perfect Holiday Photo Card.
