How to Play Naruto TCG

The Naruto Trading Card Game is a card battle game using collectible cards based on the anime TV show. The game turns are focused around using the cards for "ninja battles" like the ones seen in the show. Like many other trading card games, the secret to the game involves collecting the cards and assembling a deck of he right cards to win a battle.

Instructions

    • 1

Shuffle your deck of 40 cards, which can't have more than 25 Ninja cards or three of the same card, and draw six cards at the start. If you don't like your starting hand, you can return it to your deck and draw five other cards. You will draw one card at the start of each turn.

    • 2

Play cards during your turn's "mission phase" like Ninja or client cards in your Village. Ninjas are fighters while Clients can provide effects. You can also play Mission cards for effects. You can only play one Ninja and one Mission card on a turn, and you must have played as many turns as that card's "entrance" number.

    • 3

Charge you Chakra during the Mission Phase by discarding a card from your hand face-up behind the deck; this is the Chakra area. Building up your Chakra allows you to play certain cards during the game.

    • 4

Assemble your Ninja cards into teams in the village during the Organization Phase. A team can have up to three Ninjas. You can then move a team to the battlefield during the Battle Phase and attack your opponent, who can move a team into his own battlefield to block the attack. You can also play Jutsu cards to build up attack power.

    • 5

Add your Head Ninja's attack power to your Back Ninjas' support power during a battle. Whichever team has the highest attack power wins, and the losing team's Head Ninja is injured; turn that Ninja card sideways. A tie score injures both Head Ninjas. If an injured Ninja is hit again, or if the difference in attack power is five or more, that Ninja is defeated and removed.

    • 6

Take the top card from your opponent's deck after winning a battle and place it in your victory pile for a Battle Point. If your opponent didn't have a team on the Battlefield to block your attack, you win the battle automatically and get a Battle Point--two if your team's combined attack power was five or more.

    • 7

Win the game by being the first to get 10 Battle Points, or if your opponent's deck runs out of cards.
