Things You'll Need:
- Cake Mix
- Frosting - orange and black
- knife/toothpick

Step 1
Bake cupcakes of your choice to your liking

I use white frosting and food coloring. You only need about 1/4 of it to be black and the rest died orange. Of course you can also make these colors to your liking if you want different ones.

Spread orange frosting over cupcakes.

Put black frosting in a decorating bag. Using a number 4 tip draw three circles like a target around the cupcakes. You can also purchase tubes with plastic tips of deocrating frosting in the grocery store if you don't know how to or don't want to deal with the "hassle" of a decorating bag.

Using the dull side of a knife or a toothpick draw lines from the inside circle toward the outside one and VOILA a spiderweb design!

Step 6
As an optional step you can add a spider on top. I've used plastic spider rings (available in the bag fulls at a party store or even Target or Walmart party aisles) or you can use a gum drop as the body and licorice legs. Be creative!
