2. First of all, go to the unemployment agency where you live and ask them what services they provide for people who are unemployed and want to train as registered nurses or other types of nursing like practical nurses. Nursing is an in demand career.

3. Now ask specfically for a tuition waiver program. If there is a tuition waiver program where you live, then you are good to go. Now move on to the next step.

4. Find out if you qualify for it. You do have to have worked for a while and you do have to be working part time or be unemployed when you apply.

5. Find out what you need to do to get the tuition waiver

   First of all, you need to have secured an admission into nursing school, you will need to show proof of that with your schedule, declaration of major etc.

6. Make sure you have all the right documents required and have done all the classes or registration required to apply for the tuition waiver and keep yout fingers crossed.
