Make sure your bed is large enough, if it is too small banging of your feet or head can prevent you from getting adequate sleep.

Exercising daily helps you get sleep at night. I even like to do a light workout just before going to bed, which helps me fall asleep quicker.

Make sure your room is dark enough and is free from noise. Light and unwanted noise can not only prohibit you from falling asleep, but can keep waking you up throughout the night.

Make sure your room is at a comfortable temperature, having it too hot or cold can prevent the proper amount of sleep.

Finally try to keep anything worrying your or anxiety off your mind. Trying to sleep at night with anxiety can cause your mind to wonder and prevent you from falling asleep.
