Tips & Warnings

  • Wash your dog with a sudsy soap every few days as he may bring outside fleas back into the house. Dish soap works great.

  • Borax dries out the fleas, but can also be dangerous if it is ingested by small children, so keep your kids away from treated areas. While the mixture will kill adult fleas, unhatched eggs may still hatch. If you don't continue to dust with the mixture once a week for a month, you will probably continue to have a flea problem. If you have a shag or looped rug, it may be difficult to get the mixture out.
