How to Trim Eyelashes
Some people wear false eyelashes because they think that their lashes are too short, while others have the exact opposite problem--their eyelashes are too long. It is possible, in some cases, for eyelashes to grow so long and thick that they may impair vision. Or a person may want to shorten their eyelashes for cosmetic purposes. Whatever the reason, a simple solution to this problem is trimming the eyelashes. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Choose a place and time when you will not be interrupted. This is very important because you are using scissors in close proximity to the eye. If you are interrupted, you may slip and seriously injure yourself or worse, permanently damage the eye.
-
2
Set up the mirror on a table or some other flat surface in a well-lit area. The higher the magnification of the mirror and the brighter the light, the better. Be sure the lighting is either behind the mirror or above it. If the light is directly behind you, your head will block it and you will not be able to see as well.

3
Steady your elbow on the table and begin. Trim your eyelashes working from the inside corner of the eye to the outer edge. Move slowly and cut only a small length at a time. If the eyelashes are still too long, you can go back and trim them some more.
-
4
Repeat the process on the other eye. Be careful, making sure that the lengths of the lashes are the same for both eyes.
-
5
Wash the face thoroughly after trimming eyelashes to remove any pieces that may fall into the eyes. Use an eyelash curler to shape the lashes before applying mascara or any other makeup.
