How to Install Themes on a Blackberry

Ringtones, wallpaper and your navigation icons can all be changed on the Blackberry Pearl. The settings for these changes are packaged as themes. Themes are preloaded on the device and depending on your service provider you may also be able to download them. Switching, deleting and downloading themes is easy. You can also load the phone with games and applications.

Instructions

1. Click on "Theme" in the Device Options menu, and then click on a one of the themes that will be listed. You can try a few themes and see if you like them, or you might be able to download a theme.

2. Check with your service provider to see if it permits downloading themes.

3. Click "Theme" in the Device Options menu. Press the "Menu"" key. Click Download Themes." Click on a downloaded theme.

4. Click on the Blackberry "Help" icon on the home screen of your Blackberry Pearl to see more personalization options. A web browser will launch and you will be taken to a Blackberry mobile website where you can choose more themes and also wallpaper, ringtones, games and software, like social networking applications.
