How to Hang Towels
Add a touch of spalike elegance to any bathroom with perfectly arranged towels. Aside from making a bathroom look tidy, a towel that is properly hung up will dry more quickly. If done incorrectly though, it won't help much, and wet towels may not dry thoroughly either. Once you get the hang of proper folding, you're one step closer to your dream spa retreat. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Lay the towel flat on the floor or on a bed or table and make sure it is spread out completely with no creases or wrinkles.
-
2
Stand in front of one of the long sides of the towel so that when you look down at the towel it looks like a widescreen TV, rather than a tower.
-
-
3
Reach down and pinch the two corners of the towel that are closest to you, one with each hand. Lift them up a few inches and fold the towel forward (away from you) on top of itself. Only cover half of the towel though. After spreading out any wrinkles, and making small adjustments until the towel is straight and aligned, you should see 50 percent of the towel doubled over, and 50 percent of the towel left to a single layer.
-
4
Move to the other long end of the towel and fold this section over the doubled-over section in a similar fashion. You should now see a skinny rectangle that is folded over three times.
-
5
Carefully pick up the towel by pinching two corners on one of the narrow ends. Make sure to grab all three layers of the folded towel so as to prevent the unraveling of the folds you have just made. Thread the towel between the bar of the towel rack and the wall.
-
6
Adjust the towel on the rack so that each end is hanging down in equal length. If you have additional towels to hang, slide the towel over to the far side of the towel rack and repeat the process for the next towel.
