Step 1
Right now, make a list of all the people you need to shop for. Put a line (so you can check them off) to the left of their name and keep some space for their interests on the right side of their names. Once you complete the list, write some gift ideas down for each person. You will feel much better once you have started the process.
-
Step 2
You can start by shopping early (around September). Shopping early will save you money on items. You can find great deals at the end of September and October due to the season changes (this also depends on which part of the country you live in). Shorts and T-shirts are a steal around this time, and the heavier clothes are being introduced cheaper as well.
-
Step 3
Don't Wait! If you wait you will wind up paying more due to emergency impulse buying. You wind up buying too much stuff and hope to match a person with a gift. Your list will help you pick out a perfect gift and it will most likely be on sale. Sometimes people don't start their shopping until the day before the holidays. Don't be this person.
-
Step 4
Black Friday - The day after Thanksgiving. This day always has the best deals on Everything and Anything at almost every store. It is a crazy day to shop but a rewarding challenge for most bargain shoppers. Don't let people intimidate you about this day. However, plan on leaving your house around 7-8am. Remember to use your list and zero in on completing your task. Stick your list. You can actually spend a lot more money due to the many enticing deals on so much stuff. Stick to the list!

Step 5
Look on Ebay.com. If certain specific items are too expensive in the stores but you really want to buy it as a gift, look on Ebay. You may be able to find prices way below the retail prices and be extremely happy getting it delivered to your front door!
