How to Get Rid of a Wasp Nest with Dry Ice
Many times wasps nest are found in the ground. Wasps will bore into the dirt to build a nest safe from the outside world. Wasps can be very dangerous and are dangerous to those who are allergic to their stings. Wasps will sting repeatedly, not just once. Extreme care must be used when dealing with wasps and their nests. Destroying a wasp nest is best down at dusk or at night with no bright lights to disturb the wasps in the nest. Does this Spark an idea?

To eliminate an in ground wasp nest place dry ice on the ground around the entrance to the wasp nest. Protect yourself with gloves and eye protection when handling dry ice. Never breathe in the air around dry ice.

Allow the dry ice to stay on the ground. Dry ice emits carbon dioxide which will quickly seep down the entrance and into the wasp nest. The carbon dioxide will kill the wasps. Be sure to do this on an evening when the weather is dry.

Wait overnight before attempting to go near the wasp nest to allow the dry ice to work. Keep dry ice away from pets and children. In the morning the wasps in the nest will be dead and the nest can be removed. Check for any wasp activity around the nest before approaching it.

Tips & Warnings
Dry ice is much colder than regular ice and can cause frostbite much faster than regular ice.
Dry ice emits carbon dioxide which can be lethal if inhaled.
