This is an easy flower to make out of colored tissue paper and wire. These make a great center piece or decoration for wedding, birthdays or just giving to a friend or love one. Enjoy

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Colored Tissue paper
  • pipe cleaner or wire
  1. Step 1
     

    First step lay your tissu paper out flat. You can do two or three different color but for training purposes we are using one.

  2. Step 2
     

    Next you want to began to fold length wise about 1/2 inch to 1 ich fold, you want to fold in a fan like fashion all the way to the end.

    "fan folding" fold the paper lenth wise toward you 1/2 inch flip the paper over and fold the paper exactly the same width on the flip side. Repeat these steps.

  3. Step 3
     

    place the tissue flat on the surface, now grab your wire and wrap it around the center of the outside of the tissue.

    Becareful if you are using a thicker wire, use gloves or pliers so that you don't cut yourself or cause injuries to your hands.

  4. Step 4
     

    Now twist the wire around the other end of the wire to secure the tissue paper. Try not to make it to tight or you might either rip the tissue or make it hard to pull and form the flower.

  5. Step 5
     

    Now start separating each layer of tissue piece by piece. Pull each piece up around the center attachment to hide the wire.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try adding several colors for a different look.
  • Remember to becareful when using wire and bare hands.
