How to View Pictures on a Private Profile on MySpace

Save

Occasionally, people who use the social networking website MySpace will set their profiles to "Private." This means that only people they are friends with can view things like their likes, dislikes, blog posts and photos. To view the pictures on a private profile you must first add them as a "friend," which means they've given you permission to view their full profile.

  • Log into your MySpace account by going to www.myspace.com and typing in your user name and password.

  • Navigate to the private profile whose photos you'd like to view. You can do this by typing their name into the "Find Friends" search field, or by simply going to their page if you already know the URL.

  • Click on the "Add to Friends" button. You will be asked to confirm whether or not you want to add this person as a friend. Click "Yes." This will send that person a request to add you to their list of virtual friends. The process cannot proceed until they respond to the friend request.

  • Go back to the main profile page for the person whose pictures you want to view. Their full profile will now be available to you.

  • Click the link that reads "Pics" under their main profile photo. This will take you to their available photo albums that you can now browse through.
