  • For in-between cleanings, keep disinfectant wipes on the back of the toilet and wipe the seat and handle down daily. Cleaning the toilet weekly instead of when it appears to need cleaning is the key to keeping a clean toilet.

  • If a child is potty training, you might need to clean the toilet more than weekly. Tablets to keep your toilet fresh can be added in between cleanings, but do not depend only on them for keeping your toilet fresh and disinfected.
