Step 1
Opt to spend the night by either renting a cabin or securing a campsite. The cabins have all the modern conveniences. The campground includes selective sites along the lake shore. Each designated camping area has bathing facilities. Note that reservations for such accommodations are required.

Rent a pedal boat or rowboat. Rentals are on the hour or half-hour basis and vary in price. The park has a boat launch for those wishing to bring their own boat.

Rent fishing gear at the marina. Bait and a fishing license are also available for purchase. The marina displays photographs of trophy catches over the years.

Swim in the beautiful park pool. There is a nominal fee to access the pool. The pool includes a bathhouse and locker facilities. The pool is very popular during the summer months. Note that swimming in the lake is prohibited.

Ride bikes along many of the bike trails throughout the park. The park roads also invite bike riding. There are several open meadows where deer are grazing and clearly visible along the bike paths.

Hike any number of trails scattered throughout the park. The trails range from easy to moderate and also vary in length. The trails extend through pristine woodlands where squirrels and deer are plentiful. The forest floor is covered in beautiful ferns and flowering plants in season.
