Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Place the Ugg boots in a basin and hand wash in lukewarm water. Add a mild detergent to the water suitable for wool clothing. Soak the boots in the water.

  2. Step 2

Scrub at any spots with an old toothbrush. Dip the toothbrush in the soap and water mixture. Be gentle while scrubbing at the boots to prevent any permanent damage to the material.

  3. Step 3

Rinse off the soap with fresh water. Shake off some of the excess water.

  4. Step 4

Put the Ugg boots in your washing machine. Do not add any detergent. Set the washing machine to start its spin cycle. Remove the Ugg boots from the washing machine after the spin cycle is complete.

  5. Step 5

Place the Ugg boots in a shady spot to dry. The boots can be dried inside the home or outdoors. You should never use a dryer or direct sunlight to dry Ugg boots. High heat can cause the sheepskin material to shrink. The Ugg boots may feel tight at first when you put them on after washing, but they will return to normal after a few hours.
