How to Style Frizzy Hair
Managing and styling frizzy hair can be challenging. Managing frizzy hair and the split ends that come with it requires a combination of just the right styling products, styling services, and styling tools. Styling frizzy hair is easy when the hair is kept to the best length and free of split ends and breakage. Curly frizzy hair can also be temporarily straightened when environmental factors, including humid weather, prevent curls from looking their absolute best. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Shampoo the hair two or three times each week with a shampoo designed for frizzy curly hair. Using excessive amounts of shampoo causes the hair to become dry, which makes hair even more prone to breaking and becoming frizzy.
-
2
Use a leave-in conditioner designed for frizzy hair after washing. Leave-in conditioners nourish the hair from root to tip. Conditioning with a leave-in conditioner strengthens the hair to protect against split ends, breakage, and frizzy hair caused by humid outdoor weather conditions.

3
Pat the hair gently with a towel to remove some of the moisture. Use a light amount of styling gel or mousse, specifically designed to control frizzy and dry hair.
-
4
Dry your hair without using a hair dryer. Use a hair dryer with a diffuser attachment if you are pressed for time when styling curly frizzy hair. Use the hair dryer on the coolest temperature setting to prevent heat damage to the hair.
-
5
Use a flat iron to section the hair from the root to the tip. Using the flat iron from the root to the tip gives the hair a sleek and shiny look when the hair is too frizzy to wear curls.

6
Visit a trusted stylist at least every six weeks. Regular visits to a hairstylist maintain the health of the hair and prevent split ends, which are a major cause of frizzy hair. Have the hair styled in a medium layered style. Layered styles in curly hair appear to be more even, and are easier to manage.
