1- Make sure that you change the water every three days or when the water becomes cloudy. Re-cut stems with sharp knife and arrange rose in clean, deep container filled with room temperature water.

The best time to cut flowers is in the morning.

Have your vase ready with clean water and flower foods, before you start cutting so you can immediately put the flowers in the in the vase and arranging them.

Instructions
  1. Step 1
     

    2- Avoid any direct source of heat.

    3- Remove any leaves and any dead flowers that may be under water.

    4- Remove any foliage that will be below the level
    of water in your vase.

  2. Step 2
     

    5- It is important to check to see that the vase is
    full and add preservative solution often.
     
    6- In the winter, guard your flowers carefully against
    sudden exposures to cold air.

    7- Keep your flowers in a cool place, out of direct
    sunlight and drafts. Until you can get them in a
    flower food solution.

  3. Step 3
     

    8- Flower foods make flowers last longer but it is
    important to follow the mixing directions
    on the flower food packet.

    9- Feed weekly during flowering period.

    10- Do not let the newly cut end dry off before
    transferring it back to your arrangement
    or other container. Avoid using water from
    a water softener.

  • Make sure there is always clean water in your vase.
