earn cash with paid surveys and focus groups

Okay, so I am sure that by now you have come across hundreds of paid survey ads online. Those ads that have tons of testimonial stories about how someone quit their job, and now makes $125-$300 per hour completing surveys online right?

Well, I can tell you right now it's total BS!

While there are indeed survey companies out there that do pay you to complete surveys for them. None of them are paying anyone that kind of money to take a survey, and there certainly isn't some magic wish list of survey sites that is privy to anyone.

So what the real deal behind paid surveys and focus groups?

Let's take a look...

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Never Pay Anyone A Fee To Take Surveys

If a survey company is asking you for a sign-up fee for a complete list of surveys. Or a sign-up fee to get started working for their company, rest assure that you will be on the losing end of the deal. They will take your money and never give you a dime for anything that you do for them.

You should never have to pay someone to give you a job.

Remember it's them who has to pay you the fee or commission to work for them - not the other way around.

Let me be clear. No legitimate survey company will ever charge you a fee to complete surveys for them. Should any company ever ask you for money to sign-up. RUN! It is a scam!

  2. Step 2

Online Paid Surveys & Offline Paid Surveys

Many people do not know, but there are online paid survey companies and there are also offline paid survey companys. The online paid survey companies, will ask you for your opinion in helping to evaluate new products, test new advertising, and tell companies what you like, don't like, and want in the future. Most online paid surveys are very short and detailed requiring only about 10-15 minutes of your time. They also pay anywhere between $3-$20 per survey. Examples of legitimate online paid surveys are, Pinecone Research, ACOP and 20/20 Research.

Offline survey companies are called focus groups. A focus group is a form of qualitative research in which a group of people are asked about their attitude towards a product, service, concept, advertisement, idea, or packaging. Questions are asked in an interactive group setting where participants are free to talk with other group members.

These focus group studies are conducted at on-site facilities and require just one to two hours of your time. Pay can range anywhere between $75-$200 and they require you to complete a pre-screened questionnaire to see if you fit the demographic that they are looking for. Examples of legitimate offline paid surveys are, FocusPointeGlobal, Advanced Focus, Schlesinger Associates and JRA Reckner Research.

  3. Step 3

Understanding How To Maximize Your Earnings

The best way to maximize your earnings in the paid survey industry is to join as many paid survey sites as you can. Most paid survey companies, those that operate online and off will send less than five surveys a month, and you may not qualify for most of them So the more survey sites you join the higher your potential earnings.

Paid surveys are fun and are a sure way to earn supplemental cash on the side for yourself so enjoy.

Tips & Warnings
  • Never pay any survey company a fee to join.
  • Paid surveys are not jobs, and should not be considered as such. They do not pay out annual salaries and there is no daily commission paid to you. No one can get rich completing surveys. Not no one!
  • Websites like TreasureTrooper and Inboxdollars are not paid survey sites. They are Get Paid To Sites. People tend to get confused all the time with this.
  • To find more focus group companies you can check out Craigslist and click on where it says ETC
