If you like omelets and you are a redneck then try this recipe for a nice redneck omelet.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 sliced smoked ham sliced
  • 1 tbsp parsley
  • 1/4 cup sliced cheese
  • 2 cooked italian sausage
  • 1 sm diced potato
  • 1 sm pepper diced
  • 6 eggs whipped
  1. Step 1
     

    In a medium skillet, heat 1 tbsp butter and your 2 tsp of olive oil. Add your ham and sausage and let cook over medium heat until lightly brown. About 2 to 3 minutes. Remove meat and mix in with your eggs. Set aside.

  2. Step 2

    Place your diced potato in the pan and let cook for 1 to 2 minutes until golden brown. 3 minutes should be the most it would take.

  3. Step 3
     

    Pour egg mixture into the pan and blend. Add your diced pepper and parsley. Cook over medium heat for about 2 minutes.

  4. Step 4

    Put remaining butter on top of omelet. Take a spatula and flip once. Let cook for an additional minute.

  5. Step 5

    Take out of pan and pour your 1/4 cup of shredded cheese over the top. Cover the pan with a lid. Let melt, serve and enjoy being a redneck.
