Make A Cherry Limeade that Tastes Like Sonic

Yummy!!! One of my favorite treats are cherry limeades, but it wasn't until recently that I figured out how to make them at home! This cherry limeade is just as tasty as the one you could get at Sonic. But the best part is that you can make at home for less money and save yourself a trip to Sonic when you have the late night munchies!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Cherry limeade' s are really easy to make, you just have to have the proper ingredients. You will need 7-Up or Sprite, don't use Mountain Dew or Ginger Ale, they won't taste right. You will also need cherry syrup, which can usually be found in the ice cream sundae section at your grocery store. You will also need fresh limes and maraschino cherries.

  2. Step 2

Pour your Sprite in a glass over ice and squeeze at least one half of a lime into it. You will want to taste it to see if it is tart enough, some people like two lime halves in their limeade. Leave the lime in the drink, it adds more flavor.

  3. Step 3

The second step is to add your cherry syrup. I add about 1 Tablespoon to my glass of Sprite, but my kids like a lot more cherry syrup in theirs, so you should have a taste test at this step also. Be careful though about too much syrup, it can make it terribly sweet. Add one or two maraschino cherries and you have yourself a delightful treat!
