Deal With a Close Death in Your Family
Deal With a Close Death in Your Family

Its always hard when you have a death in the family, this article will help you deal with your emotions and help you get by.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

You first want to surround yourself with family and friends who are dealing with the emotional outpour from the death as you are.

  2. Step 2

Try to remember your loved one for what they would of wanted to be remembered by, and continue on with your life as what they would of wanted you to.

  3. Step 3

If the death has taken a huge emotional toll on you, do not be afraid to go and consult a counselor. Professional advice and help could be the very thing that you need.

  4. Step 4

Don't ever blame yourself for the death, all this will do is cause psychological harm and could lead to some pretty bad things.

  5. Step 5

Cry and let out all your emotions, do not keep these things bottled up. Its never wrong to cry and show emotions, trust me you won't be the only one doing this.

  6. Step 6

Finally move on with your life, your loved one would want you to do this over anything else. This is the hardest of the steps, but from personal experience it really helps in the end to just move on.
