How to use paint stirring padle for masking Tape

Many people find it difficult to keep a steady hand while painting a wall next to cabinets in the kitchen, laundry room or window trim, so we use masking tape. But, 99.9 percent of the time the paint leeks behind the tape in some places. The wood trim on the cabinets or windows you're trying to keep from painting is smeared. The method below is very easily accomplished.

Things You'll Need:

• Masking tap
• Paint stirring padle
• Razor blade

1. 1.Carefully place masking tape on cabinet wood trim and gently press masking tape by sliding a thumb along the tape to keep it from wrinkling.

2. 2.Place the edge of the paint stirring paddle against the wall with the flat part of the paddle facing up. Press paint paddle firmly against the wood trim and slide the paint paddle along the wall.

3. 3.Wait until the paint on the wall and tape is dry. With razor blade in hand, cut a line along the wall against cabinet wood trim and slowly peel tape off.

4. 4.Use steps 1-3 for windows, Be very careful not to put too much pressure on window pane with stirring padle.

Tips & Warnings

• Dip paint brush in paint and wipe off one side. Keep full side of brush where the flow of paint can be seen.
• When painting next to window pane or any wood trim, use one stroke while rotating brush slowly.
