Instructions

    • 1

Decide which rooms you would like to have recycling containers. Make sure to have large enough containers, bins or shelf units placed in the laundry room or garage to collect all the recycling materials in one place before putting it out on the curb. Think of the style of each room and what kind of container would look and work the best. If there is one recyclable item you have more of, buy one container just for it.

    • 2

Buy organizers and label them accordingly. Some label suggestions are: paper/cardboard, glass/cans/plastic.

    • 3

Place the organizers into each room. Decide if you want to empty them when full or on recycling day.

    • 4

Empty the containers, bins or shelves into the larger bins placed in your laundry room or garage. Place the larger bins on the curb for pick up.
