How to Put Movies Onto iPod

Adding videos to your video compatible iPods is actually quite easy and quick when using free software like iTunes. Once you have properly converted your videos into iPod format, adding them to your iPod is simple.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • iTunes
  • iPod Touch, iPhone, iPod classic or iPod nano
  • Computer
  1. Step 1

    Download and install iTunes from Apple's official website. It is free to all so take advantage. Make sure you select to create a desktop icon of iTunes to make for quick and easy access.

  2. Step 2

    Open iTunes by double-clicking the desktop icon you just created. Click "file" on the top menu, and click either "add folder" or "add file."

  3. Step 3

    Add your videos to iTunes by selecting either each individual file or the folder in which they are.

  4. Step 4

    Plug your iPod into your computer via the included USB adapter. ITunes will automatically find your iPod. Drag and drop the added videos onto your iPod or automatically sync your iPod with iTunes every time it is connected.

Tips & Warnings
  • Presort through your videos and put them into one folder to make for easy iTunes access.
