Find a Carnival Cruise

So you've made the decision to take a Carnival cruise, but aren't sure how to go about finding and booking the one you want? Whether you choose to find the cruise directly from Carnival itself or use a third-party travel provider, the process can seem confusing to those who have not done it before. However, luckily, finding a Carnival cruise is very easy and can be done in just a few simple steps.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

    Through Carnival

  1. Step 1

Go online to Carnival's website at www.carnival.com and click the "Find a Cruise" link at the top of the page.

  2. Step 2

Choose the destination, departure city, the date and the duration of your desired cruise using the template shown. The bottom right-hand corner of the screen will indicate how many cruises are available for your specific selections. Click "View Cruise Results" to see more details about these cruises.

  3. Step 3

Browse through the listings that appear next. Find the cruise that looks the most desirable to you, and click the green "Details" button to learn more about that particular cruise.

  4. Step 4

Go through all the details of the cruise you selected. Use the information to determine whether this cruise meets all of you desires. If so, call 1-888-Carnival or use the on-screen instructions to book this cruise. If not, click your browser's "Back" button to return to the list to examine your other cruise options. Repeat the process until you find the cruise that's the best fit for you.

  5. Through a Third-Party Travel Provider

  6. Step 1

Decide whether you would like to use an online travel provider, such as Travelocity.com or Expedia.com, or a local travel agent. This is a personal preference based on your own comfort level with technology.

  7. Step 2

Share the details about the type of cruise you are seeking. Include information such as the destination, departure city, the date and the duration of your desired cruise.

  8. Step 3

Sort through your options. This is a good opportunity to compare prices with Carnival itself and with other third-party travel providers to make sure you are getting the best deal possible.

  9. Step 4

    Book your cruise.

Tips & Warnings
  • Being flexible about travel dates and the type of stateroom may allow you to find much cheaper rates.
  • Remember that taxes, shore excursions, alcohol and transportation to the departure city are all extra costs that are not included in the listed cruise price. Whether you choose to book directly through Carnival or through another vendor, be sure that you will have access to a live customer service representative in case you have questions or concerns about booking your cruise.
