How to Add an Excel Spreadsheet to a Blogger Post


Blogging is used for many different reasons, from business to personal interest. Naturally, some bloggers may wish to share documents with their audience via Blogger, one of the most popular free blogging sites on the Internet. Adding an Excel spreadsheet to a Blogger post has been made significantly easier with the newest editions of Blogger.

  • Open your document in Excel or another Excel document reader.

  • Left click your mouse from the left, top-most column all the way to the bottom right of the spreadsheet. This will select all the cells.

  • Click the "Copy" button in Excel to copy the spreadsheet. Do not press the "Cut" button as while it will copy the spreadsheet, it will also erase it.

  • Click "New Post" to begin writing a new blog posting. If you wish to add the spreadsheet to a current blog posting, click "Edit Posts" instead and then select the desired posting.

  • Don't post the spreadsheet if you aren't comfortable with other people seeing it. When you publish to Blogger, everyone who is on the Internet can potentially see your post. Therefore, if your spreadsheet contains confidential data, it is better to email the spreadsheet to those whom you want to see it rather than posting it on the Internet.
