This is Part 2 of “ How to Shop at a Farmers Market”. When you make your first visit to the Farmers Market, you see so many items that the Farms, Orchards, Greenhouses & Nurseries are selling. You have to go back again to buy the fresh fruits and vegetables, some organic foods, some flowers and many other items. You also get to see seasonal displays done by some vendors.

Things You'll Need:

  • Shopping Bag
  1. Step 1
    Bell Peppers
     
    Bell Peppers

    Red, orange and yellow bell peppers are so costly in the stores, so it’s good to pick up several at the Farmers Market. You can really save money buying them there. You can put some of them in your freezer.

    There is so much fruit, that you will always buy some, because it look so good. These strawberries are everywhere.

    Pottery

    Pottery may not have been on your list, but you see something you like, the price is right, so you make the purchase.

    Shrubs & Trees
     
    Shrubs & Trees

    You will need a truck or a larger vehicle to carry your landscaping purchase of these shrubs and trees. These are the larger ones that’s included in the assortment that the vendors have.

    MUMS
     
    MUMS

    You will always see some flowers that you want to buy. There is a variety of mums, and they are a good deal. When you are done shopping, you will have a list of items that you might purchase on your next visit. Because you got so many deals, you will go back again.
